In fact many species of ants are enemies of termites.\u00a0 Australia has over 300 native species of termites, most of which are not a threat to timbers in your home.\u00a0 The pest species of termites in the Canberra region are subterranean and have a high requirement for moisture.\u00a0 The population of a single colony of these pest species can exceed one million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Termites are a common problem. \u00a0A 2004 CSIRO survey reported that almost 33 per cent of Australian homes had a history of termite attack.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<b><div class=\"sfsi_widget sfsi_shortcode_container\"><div class=\"norm_row sfsi_wDiv \"  style=\"width:350px;text-align:center;\"><div style='width:65px;
